Abstract
This work is devoted to the problem of precise definition of the normative thermal energy losses and its comparison with actual values. Actual heat losses tests for aboveground and underground heat pipelines with various system tracing types were carried out for 124 segments of heat networks from 4 boiler houses (Kazan, Russia). The conducted experiments result in determination of heat losses for every segment of the circuit, as well as for supply and return pipelines. The actual heat losses were calculated at test segments of the heat network and compared to the normative values. We propose to introduce a new coefficient into the calculations of normative heat losses, which takes into account heat losses at a certain insulation for new pipelines. We believe that this coefficient allows one to bring calculated normative heat losses into proximity with their actual values. It is of great importance for enterprises operating at distributing mains, which do not have technical opportunity to perform heat tests
