Abstract
Some questions of the organization of military and scientific work of cadets of military higher education institution are considered in article. In particular features of application of the computer-aided engineering system Kompas-3D for preparation of models of military equipment are given, the general algorithms of work of cadets in the Kompas system during creation of scientific and competitive works are presented.
