Abstract
Religion is an organized view of beliefs; Moral values customs, participation in the religious community for a more conscientious belief in God or a superior power. Religious beliefs are an effective way to deal with painful experiences and signs of illness. It also affects the human relationships during times of trouble and discomfort. Because religion is considered as an important element in culture and cognitive therapies are strongly influenced by cultural backgrounds, beliefs and values within the culture and according to the religious context of Iran the present study was carried out to investigate the relationship between religious attitude and anger dimensions among high school students in Chalous city. This study is descriptive-correlational that the statistical population of this research includes all high school students (1005) who are studying in the city of Chalous in the academic year of 2017-2018. A sample research of 320 students selected randomly. The results of this study show that there is a meaningful relationship between religious attitude and interpersonal violence at the level of 0.001. There is also a meaningful negative relationship between religious attitude and inter-personal violence at the level of 0.001.
