Abstract
Elongated styloid process occur in 4 of general population, while only a small these patients are symptomatic. The normal adult styloid process length is considered to be between 20 to 30 mm.We would like to present a case of an elongated styloid process on both sides measured R -6 cm, L -6.5 cm . A 24 yrs old male patient presented with persistent pain in throat, painful swallowing, giddiness on turning head on both sides , for past 1 12 yrs. Elongated styloid process was diagnosed on both sides which were impinging over carotid vessels were removed by trans cervical approach.
