Abstract
The influence of drip irrigation, the area of additional fertilizing and the method of fertilizer application were analyzed. The highest yield of Valeriana Officinalis roots (5,1 t/ha) was provided when the soil moisture was about 90%. It exceeded the control for 142,9%. It is risky to grow Valeriana without irrigation, and the lack of soil moisture during the first phase of plant development resulted in the loss of crops in 2015.
Using mineral fertilizers under the main processing N45P45K45, feeding plants by the method of fertigation N45P45K45 and sealing of plants by changing the width of the aisle (from 60+60+60 cm to 60+30+60 cm) provided the increase of roots yield for 1.2 t/ha due to the control.
