Abstract
The article reveals the concept of nonverbal language of eyes, peculiarities of its verbal reflection, touches upon the question of determining its role for intercultural communication. The article presents the distinctive features of nonverbal behavior, in particular the language of eyes, its verbalization in the English, German and Russian languages to express the emotional states of a person in the process of intercultural communication. The author introduces a variety of verbal means of nominating the components of face, which have similar and specific to a certain ethno-lingual features of the language description of a certain emotion in the languages under consideration.
