Abstract
This paper is devoted to antigenic changes in influenza virus and its modeling. In the article the types of influenza virus, characteristics of haemagglutinin protein and types of change in antigens, causing pandemic and seasonal epidemic, are described. The review also includes the descriptions of the famous pandemics of influenza virus. The issue of producing influenza vaccine is considered. The task is set to model antigenic changes in influenza virus.
