EDUCATIONAL DISCIPLINE «FUNDAMENTALS OF INNOVATIVE PEDAGOGICAL ACTIVITY OF THE TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS» IN THE SYSTEM PREPARATION OF MATHEMATICS TEACHER

Abstract
Introduction. According to the «National Strategy for the Development of Education in Ukraine until the year 2021», the current stage of development of national education is characterized by the fact that education should be innovative and contribute to the formation of a person capable of living and fruitfully acting in a globalized, integrated world, quickly adapting to Conditions that are constantly changing. The direct agents of reform, innovation at the level of interaction between subject teachers act that necessitates the preparation of teachers (particularly math teacher) to innovative educational activities. Purpose. To substantiate expediency of introducing the educational discipline «Fundamentals of innovative pedagogical activity of the teacher of mathematics» in the system of training of the teacher of mathematics, to characterize the purpose, tasks, content and methodical features of conducting classes. Methods. System analysis, synthesis, analogy, comparison, pedagogical experiment. Results. The concept of innovative pedagogical activity of the teacher of mathematics аnd readiness of innovative pedagogical activity of the future mathematics teachers is sharpened. For the formation of the readiness of future teachers of mathematics for innovative pedagogical activity, we consider it expedient to introduce a separate discipline «Fundamentals of innovative pedagogical activity of the teacher of mathematics» for students of the magistracy specialty 014.04 Secondary education (mathematics). The purpose of studying this discipline is to increase the level of methodological competence, formation of readiness of future teachers of mathematics for innovative pedagogical activity. The program of the special course is designed for three credits (90 hours), including 36 hours of classroom work and 54 hours of independent work. In the process of studying the discipline provides for consideration of the following topics: Key concepts of pedagogical innovation; Innovative pedagogical experience in the development of mathematical education in Ukraine and in foreign countries; The essence, structure and characteristics of innovative processes in mathematical education; Innovative pedagogical activity of the teacher of mathematics and its structure; Main directions and levels of innovative pedagogical activity of the teacher of mathematics; Readiness of the teacher of mathematics for innovative pedagogical activity; Use of innovative information technologies in mathematical education; STEAM-direction of innovation changes in mathematical education; Design and implementation of innovations in mathematical education. Originality. For the first time, the academic discipline was proposed іs aimed at forming the readiness of future mathematics teachers for innovative pedagogical activities. Conclusion. The educational discipline «Fundamentals of innovative pedagogical activity of the teacher of mathematics» is an important part of the continuous process of forming the readiness of future teachers of mathematics for innovative pedagogical activity. Achievement of the purpose and fulfillment of the tasks of the discipline is possible provided that an innovative educational environment is created in the course of studying the course, which involves the use of innovative forms of lecture, practical and laboratory classes, organization of quasi-professional activity of students in the process of classroom work and non-auditing independent work, use of information and communication technologies both in the process of classroom classes, and for the implementation of elements of mixed learning, the use of innovative forms and methods of control.
