Abstract

Introduction. The analysis of scientific references gives grounds to state that elaboration of a model of professional training of future specialists in physical rehabilitation to work with athletes' health recreation has not been sufficiently substantiated. A model of professional training of future specialists in physical therapy, ergotherapy to work with athletes' health recreation has been developed and theoretically substantiated. The following methods of research were used in the article: analysis and synthesis of scientific references related to the topic; method of scientific modeling. Based on the analysis of methodological, organizational, and educational peculiarities of the process of professional training of future specialists in physical therapy, ergotherapy to work with athletes' health recreation and practical experience, model's structural blocks have been defined, their correlations have been established, and conditions for their realization to reach the goal have been revealed. Target, theoretical and methodological, content, procedural, as well as criteria and diagnostics structural blocks have been defined in the model. Purpose. To develop and theoretically substantiate the model of professional training of future specialists in physical therapy, ergotherapy to work on the recovery of athletesʼ health. Results. A model of professional training of future specialists in physical therapy, ergotherapy to work with athletes' health recreation has been elaborated. It is an integral system of structural (aim, methodological approaches, principles, structural components of preparedness of future specialists in physical therapy, ergotherapy to work with athletes' health recreation, forms, methods, means, stages, levels of preparedness of future specialists in physical therapy, ergotherapy to work with athletes' health recreation) and functional (tasks, functions and pedagogical conditions of professional training of future specialists in physical therapy, ergotherapy to work with athletes' health recreation, evaluation of preparedness of future specialists in physical rehabilitation, ergotherapy to work with athletes' health recreation) components that correlate and interact and are aimed at complex provision of efficiency of educational activity of teachers and students of higher educational establishments. Conclusion. As a result of the theoretical analysis of scientific literature and our own experience of teaching, we developed and theoretically substantiated the model of professional training of future specialists in physical therapy, ergotherapy to work on restoring the health of athletes. The developed model is presented as an integral system of structural and functional units, which are in interconnection and interaction, and aimed at the comprehensive provision of effective educational activities of teachers and students of higher education institutions.
