The internet-images of tourism types developed on particular territories facilitate the increase in demand for the relevant services. For this purpose, they should be correct, full, and clear. Moreover, they can be slightly idealized. Monitoring and optimization of such images are considered as innovative approaches of increasing the attractiveness of a regional tourism industry. As examples, this work treats the internet-images of rural tourism of the Russian regions.
