Abstract
Share and reuse high-quality digital resources is a growing need for education, for this reason it is useful to know mechanisms interoperability with Learning Management Systems (LMS) that are transparent in its implementation and allow to maximize the use of instructional design characteristics. In this article, we present an introduction at IMS-LTI interoperability standard, that allows making this possible, followed by a brief comparative analysis with respect to the SCORM standard, both widely accepted in the educational environment; likewise, we exemplify the process of interoperability between applications of learning specific purpose (usually hosted remotely) and Moodle, a learning platform widely used by educational institutions.
