Generalization of approaches to the evaluation of the tourist and recreational potential of the country (region)

The article analyzes the process of assessing the tourist and recreational potential of the country (region). The need to assess the existing tourist and recreational potential of the country is noted. Its main tasks are singled out depending on the initiators of such an assessment: state, regional and local authorities, investors, resource owners, tourist operators. It is proposed to combine the components of the tourist-recreational potential into three main areas: resource, social and economic.
