The types of dictations at lessons of Ukrainian as a foreign language

The article pays attention to practical writing as a type of linguistic ability in studing Ukrainian as a foreign language. It distinguishes a dictation as an important method in teaching of writing of foreign students. The value of different types of dictations is that they enable the teacher to organize the entire group for a certain purposeful work, activate the mental activity of students, instill skills of collective, individual and independent work, which is regulated and coordinated by the teacher. Such work teaches foreign students to quickly and accurately performance of tasks, educates their will and responsibility for independent work.
