Abstract
This article reveals the relevance of the work aimed at studying the characteristics of the adaptation students of a medical college with limited health opportunities. Important in this case is the issue of adaptation of persons with disabilities (HIA) to the new conditions and the requirements that are imposed on them by society. This need arises due to a significant change in the personality of the patient, who often has to deal with a special relationship. The article emphasizes the importance of studying the adaptive resource of people with disabilities in the student environment, as well as the problems in adaptation to the society, they also have to face adaptation to the educational environment of the university where they study. The importance of the issue of vocational education for persons with disabilities is disclosed and, in this connection, necessary and appropriate approaches in this direction are personal and activity-oriented. The work describes categories of people who have the opportunity to study in medical universities such as: blind, visually impaired, deaf and hard of hearing, deaf-blind, persons with severe speech disorders and persons with impaired musculoskeletal system. The presented article describes the possibilities of using the data obtained in the course of a prospective study of the adaptation features of university students with limited health opportunities. In the future, it seems possible to work to expand the opportunities for personal and professional growth, increase the level of motivation, create a positive image of the future, in addition, the development of training programs for teachers working with students with HIA of higher educational institutions is becoming especially topical.
