Cultural specific of translation of phraseological units in English, Russian and Karakalpak languages

The article discusses the features of translation of phraseological units with cultural specific character in English, Russian and Karakalpak languages. The article pays special attention to the equivalent translation. The author concludes that the translator must choose the right methods of translation to convey meaning of phraseological units, and gives examples of complete and partial equivalents of PhU.
