Abstract
The State of Umayyad had fourteen khalifahs in its short period of eighty-nine years. It is seen that there is some common information about some khalifah. But there is not common information about some of them. One of these khalifahs is Suleyman b. Abdulmelik. Some historians say that his period is an unsuccessful period although some other historians speak highly of his period. In this study, the period of Suleyman b. Abdulmelik is tried to be evaluated objectively by handling different evaluations about the period.
