Abstract
This paper discusses the study and edition of Jamal-i Khalwatî al Aksarayî’s (d. 899/1494), Treatise which entitled Asraar al wuḍū (the secrets of ablution). The paper also contains some short information about his life and list of his other works. Jamal al Khalwati is the founder of the Jamaliyya sect (tariqa) and who has written a lot of work in different field. One of his works is Asraar al-wuḍū. We determined some different manuscripts of this work in Turkey manuscripts libraries. We also determined that there are some other works which registered by the name of Asrar al-wuḍū but in real they are not belonging to him. In the mentioned work Jamal al Khalwati has divided the ablution to apparent and internal. According to him internal ablution (spiritual cleaning) is mandatory for the real prayer that is the reaching of salik to God as apparent ablution is mandatory for the apparent prayer (salat).
