Abstract

The insufficient stability of d esert complexes, especially under the influence of anthropogenic factors, causes need of systematic or periodic observation of their state using GIS. In this paper, there are the results of imple- mentation of the GIS concept of information systems' creation for ample pasture lands of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of the generalized large - scale maps, which has allowed to receive new complex data on pasture lands and degree of their water - bearing nature.
