CURRENCY RISK INSURANCE IN POLAND AND UKRAINE

The article deals with the concepts and instruments of realization of currency risk insurance. The analysis of the performance of the foreign exchange market of Poland and Ukraine and the use of derivative financial instruments to reduce currency risks are analyzed. The main reasons for the low use of currency derivatives in Ukraine are outlined and recommendations are given inrelation to further development of these financial instruments at the home currency market.
