Abstract
The influence of principles of segmentation to assortment formation was presented in the article. The factors which influence on the assortment formation of products are considered, the process of formation of assortment was characterized, the main steps and principles of segmentation were shown. The research of the factors of influence to the assortment formation due the reasoning of expediency of considering the principles of segmentation taking into account the assessment of consumers was got the further development.
