INITIAL ANALYSIS OF EUROPEAN UNION BUDGET EXPENDITURES

To understand the common policies that the European Union implements to ensure political and economic integration, an analysis of the European Union Budget Expenditures, which is a reflection of these policies, needs to be carried out. In this study, EU budget expenditures during the period 2007 - 2017 were evaluated according to main topics. In the period concerned, the share of t he Union budget is more than 40 % in the Common Agricultural Policy Expenditures. This is followed by 35 % of the regional policies, and when the Union is provided, the Union will be able to achieve growth and employment targets. Competitiveness Expenditur es for Rural Development and the Envi- ronment and Growth and Employment also appear to have increased remarkably.
