ESTIMATION OF AREA OF ADHESIVE FORCES ACTION AT LIQUID DROP SPREADING ON THE SOLID SURFACE

Abstract
It is shown that at liquid drop spreading o n a solid smooth uniform surface there is a local ring - shaped area of adhesive forces action around the drop on the surface. It is obtained that width of this area is b = 0,414r K where r K is the radius of the drop base sitting on the surface.
