Abstract
The article analyzes the components of productivity of cotton grades depending on the background of cultivation. Based on the conducted analyses, it can be noted that different cotton grades are significantly differentiated in their responses to conditions of moisture deficit. The moisture deficit inhibits the growth of the function and produc- tivity of unstable grades, but can stimulate the production processes of resistant grades, limiting the development of vegetative mass.
