Abstract

This article presents the history ethn olinguoculturological mutual influence of Russian and Tatar peoples.The situation of the Tatar ethnic group in the Russian linguistic - community was considered. This direction is complemented with the review of prerequisites of emergence of the national - Russian bilingualism in the Republic of Tatarstan. The causes of a language issue in the republic and possible ways of their decision are discussed.
