Abstract

Importance: Awareness about menstrual hygiene as well hygiene practices during menstrual cycle is important for good health. If sufficient hygiene practices follow during menstrual cycle, many health issues like cervical cancer can be reduced. Kerala is a south Indian state where 100% literacy achieved. This paper looking into the organizations who work for menstruation hygiene as well produces sanitary napkins with low cost, biodegradable disposable in Kerala.
