ANALYSIS OF FM NOISE PARAMETERS AND IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF TUNED STATION & ALTERNATE FREQUENCY STRATEGY

Commercial Radio uses three common broadcasting standards namely AM, FM and DAB. Out of these modulation techniques, frequency modulation based radio is very common. The main issue in FM radio in a mobile environment is loss of signal quality due to mobility. The inbuilt registers in any tuner has various noise improvement techniques with which noise can be reduced. When the mobile FM radio is beyond the transmission area for current tuned station's frequency, alternate frequency strategies can be employed to get quality audio.
