CONTROVERSIES IN MANAGEMENT OF OVARIAN CYSTS DURING PREGNANCY. MEDICAL CASE

The paper describes a rarely encountered in daily practice clinical case in which multiple diagnostic tools were used to obtain detailed information about the vulnerating process and to develop personalized approach for the given case. The utility of the tumoral markers and the high diagnostic possibilities offered by imaging tools in both detection and description of the ovarian tumors in pregnant women have been shown. Furthermore, the prediction power offered by the utilisation of computerized modulation of serological, imagistic and clinical results using estimation scores for predicting the risk of malignant tumors aggressiveness in pregnant women has been revealed.
