Abstract
The article focuses on the structural and semantic peculiarities of the composite sentences which contain a when-clause. Logical-semantic relations between the components forming this type of composite sentences are analysed. The points of view of the linguists who contributed to the researching of the compound and complex sentences in the English language are observed in this article
