Abstract
The key problems of agrarian education and ways of their solution are determined. The role of professional knowledge in ensuring the economic progress of the state is assessed. The necessity for economic literacy in agricultural production specialists is substantiated and a plan for its realization is proposed. Proposals on the methods to organize retraining and advanced training of agroindustrial complex specialists and recommendations concerning educational certification of agricultural producers have been developed.
