Abstract
Article is devoted to the historical aspects of the performance formation of the performing apparatus during the violin playing from the 16th till the 20th century. The main violin schools of Poland, Germany, France, Italy and Russia, which influenced the development of the violin performance of Western Europe are determined. It is enumerated the well-known performers and masters of violin art, whose names played the main role in the performance formation of the performing apparatus. Physiological features that influenced the performance specificity of the performing apparatus are determined.
