LVIV CHURCHES AS THE OBJECTS OF TOURISTS’ ATTRACTION

The tourist attraction of Lviv temples is investigated. Considerableattention is paid to the historical aspect as a factor of the tourist attraction of religious buildings. The idea of the diversity of modern sacred architecture as the result of the work of builders of different nationalities and historical epochs is substantiated. The importance of sculpture and artistic design of temples in the context of tourism is indicated. A number of original ideas for attracting tourists through religious architecture are offered.
