Abstract
Theoretical questions of the essence of corporate universities are researched. The analysis of modern processes of training and development of personnel, on the example of highly developed companies is analyzed. The basic functions and advantages of the corporate university are defined. The conclusion regarding to the importance of corporate universities for the development of personnel is made.
