Abstract
The article reviews the content of stories of modern literature for children, which raises the issue of people with special psychophysical lives' development; the forms, methods and ways of the teacher of languages and literature's work over these stories at the lessons are determined; some recommendations for the teacher to work with students over the content and ideas of modern literature stories for children are worked out
