Abstract
The article covers the development of the ballet school in the twentieth century. The outstanding choreographers who have contributed to the teaching of classical male dance are listed. The skills and achievements of choreographers of past years and their modification at the present stage of teaching ballet art are analyzed. Analysis of various methods of teaching classical male dance. Illumination of the distinctive features of choreographic pedagogy in the works of outstanding teachers and choreographers
