Abstract
The article deals with neoliberalism as the ideology of modern education reforms. Transition to privatization of education is considered to be central in the context of neoliberal reformation strategy. Globalization influence creates the situation when international organizations govern national education policy wider than states. Contradiction between educational policy and educational theory is determined as one of the most important challenges causing insufficient effectiveness of neoliberal reforms.
