Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of context and semantics transfer of the Japanese language in translation into Russian. As an example, the phenomenon of "polite speech" in the Japanese language and its difference from similar everyday words of politeness in the Russian language is considered. It is necessary to consider the language in one plane of culture of native speakers of this language, as well as to focus on the "language picture of the world" and its influence on the Japanese language to convey not only the correct grammatical meaning in the translation, but also to preserve cultural diversity.
