Abstract
. The article is devoted to the importance of foreign languages in the development of professional medical terminology. The aim of the work was to analyze the terms in medical dictionaries. As a result, it was revealed that, despite the dominant prevalence of the Greek and Latin languages in medical terminology, due to new discoveries and development of medicine, the professional language of the world was enriched with vocabulary from English, German and French. All of them serve as a unifying factor for doctors around the world and the unification of medical education
