Abstract
This paper is approached in the concept of positive and intercultural psychology. It is focused on examining the evaluations of the quality of life and feelings of happiness of Czech and Russian students and comparing these variables with each other. The theoretical basis for this comparative research is the assumption that Russian students are face greater psychological stress associated with adapting to a new environment. Another objective is to determine the influence of gender, housing conditions, financial situation, and xenophobic experience on the quality of life and the feeling of happiness in students. We are convinced that this research will bring further insights into the field of intercultural and positive psychology.
