Abstract
The interest in this topic has increased over the past 15-20 years due to the rising growth of multiple pregnancies associated with the introduction of assisted reproductive technologies. The frequency of multiple pregnancies after IVF program is up to 24.2 % in obstetrical institutions of the III level in 2017. The aim of our study was to identify the complications and the impact of extragenital pathology on the course of multiple pregnancies after IVF program. We conducted a retrospective analysis of 124 labor and delivery records. It was found that in 30 cases the pregnancy was multiple. The study showed that multiple pregnancies after IVF program develop more often in women older than 35 years, than in women under the age of 35 years. Among the complications of mother and fetuses, in multiple pregnancy have been identified such complications of pregnancy like premature birth, placental disorders, isthmic-cervical insufficiency, preeclampsia, poor growth of fetuses, premature rupture of membranes, fetal hypoxia of fetuses. The extragenital pathology, such as anemia of I-II stage, thyroid disease, gestational hypertension, gestational diabetes have an adverse effect on the course of multiple pregnancy after IVF program.
