In this article, we analyse the offensive and defensive weapons used by the Ottomans throughout the history as well as weapon production centres and their functions. We also investigate Ottoman navy, aviation military industries. In addition, the paper will survey the literatures on the history of traditional weapons and firearms during the Ottoman period.
