Abstract

Wireless Sensor networks (WSN) have a great potential and an emerging technology which can be employed in many critical fields such as traffic surveillance, battlefields habitat monitoring, commercial applications such as building and in many more fields. But one of the main issue that wireless networks face is about formation of the malicious node which may results in the security threats. So to avoid the formation of malicious or compromised nodes and their abnormal data packets in the wireless sensor networks we propose an Efficient Defense System for Jamming Attacks. This approach consists of mainly a control channel where the data packets of the node are sent through this control channel in order to find out the abnormal data packets. This control channel consists of five stages hopping sequence generation, hopping sequence assignment, control channel access, compromised node identification, and hopping sequence update. The data packets which are resulted as abnormal data packets are put into a safe cover with a spread code and sent to the destination node.
