Abstract
Delegating the responsibility of smart parking management needs the management system to be extremely robust. We present a star network based approach to solve the issue of parking management. Deploying a compact and rugged sensor module at all parking spots. Our modules are based on intelligent IR sensor, increasing the range by using surge current with the help of very power efficient MOSFET's. Each module will have it's own processor and it'll connect via a mesh system. It will be IoT based, so all spots availability will be almost instantaneously updated. It will be relayed to a server which will provide all information to the user. The user will have an application which will be able to instantly, without any hassle, find daily, weekly, monthly or event based parking upon in their need which will be available on all platforms. In an attempt to make the system robust we realized that the most important thing about this is to make it as seamless and natural as a secondary reflex of humans. We also tackle major environmental issues, by providing safe, clean as well as affordable parking spots.
