The publication suggests that there were very few special toys for the Eastern Slavic children. The publication deals with toys for toddlers and toys for boys and girls from 5 to 6 years of age, which they made for themselves for fun. The Eastern Slavic boys had the most widespread homemade toys of wood, pine bark, dandelion, hips, chickpeas, cane (houshold utility: little boats, taradaiki, little carts, little mills); girls had a doll.
