Autism is a complex neurological disorder that affects the functioning of the brain which means that it is a lifelong developmental disability that prevents people from understanding what they see, hear and otherwise sense. This results in severe problems with social relationships, communication and behaviour. Symptoms of Autism can be present in a variety of combinations and may be accompanying with other disabilities. There are many intervention strategies propounded but some of them lack scientific evidence which is adverse.
