Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of application of the films under crops that remain after the use of the fields and cause negatively effect to the environment, reducing crop yields and soil depletion. To solve the present problem, a material based on acetate and microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) was developed, into which various additives and plasticizers are introduced, capable of decomposition under the influence of environmental factors, including solar radiation. Investigated based mixture of cellulose acetate and MCC have improved physico-mechanical properties and is capable of undergoing biological and photodegradation and also capable to prolong the vegetation period of cotton in the conditions of the southern region of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
