Abstract

Castlemans disease is angiofollicular lymph node hyperplasia . Follicular hyperplasia of lymphnode with increased vascularity is noted.Presents as unicentric and also multicentric types. Its a very rare and Uncommon disease presentation especially in head and neck region accounting for less than 5 . Discussion about a case of 19 year oldfemale presented with left side parapharyngeal mass pushing Lateral pharyngeal wall medially crossing midline with difficulty in swallowing and snoring. FNAC done, suggested possibility of castlemans disease. MRI neck , CT angiogram done and mass excision done through endoscopic transoral approach with excellent results and HPE report confirms castlemans disease
