Abstract
One experiment research was conducted with the objective of implementing the workshop as a form of organization of teaching, to improve the performance prevocational medical student in the care of patients with dengue. This subject is taught as a lecture, but practice showed the need to ensure better systematization in the assimilation of knowledge. Sixteen students of 5th years students were assigned to the surveillance room, at the General Teaching Hospital "Dr. Agostinho Neto ", Guantanamo July 2014 (selection: simple random sampling) worked with tutors and dynamics groups with participatory techniques, making the diagnosis of the weaknesses that are manifested in the performance. The class system was fulfilled developer to stimulate learning and cognitive level transformations with the development of a guide that facilitated the recognition of the clinical forms of dengue in patient outcomes.
