ANALYSIS OF MORBIDITY WITH TEMPORARY DISABILITY IN RYAZAN REGION

Background. Diseases with temporary disability are highly detrimental to national economy. Aim. Study on the trend of level and structure of morbidity with temporary disability in the region for a three-year period in order to develop a set of measures on preservation of health among the persons of active working age. Materials and Methods. The subject of research deals with the working population of Ryazan region. The subject of research presents the recorded morbidity with temporary disability, a case and a day of disability being the research unit. Form №16-ВН «Information on aetiology of temporary disability» of the Federal statistical monitoring in Ryazan region for the years of 2014-2016 was analyzed. The population size was defined by the data of the Federal Agency for State Statistics. Results. Analysis of the structure and the rate of morbidity with temporary disability proved that the number of disability days per 100 employees in Ryazan region in 2014-2016 exceeded the rate in the Russian Federation and the Central Federal District. The structure of morbidity with temporary disability corresponds to the same in the Central Federal District. Conclusions. Assessment of the rates of morbidity with temporary disability taking into account a high demographic load on working population in Ryazan region ascertains the necessity of adopting measures on reduction of temporary disability and improvement of employees health standard. With this end in view, it is necessary to pay attention to motivating population to formation of healthy life-style and immunoprophylaxis, to assuring ease of access to preventive medical measures, injury prevention as well as to employer's enforcement of work place conformity to the state regulatory safety requirements.
