Abstract
In this article the value of commercial banks on securities market, his functions, factors which influence formation of this portfolio is considered. Also we will consider structure of a portfolio for 2017, we will carry out the analysis of dynamics of specific weight of a portfolio of securities in assets of the banking sector and its volume in credit institutions since 2010.
