Diagnosis of child and adolescent sexual abuse as a starting point for treatment in medical psychology discipline

Abstract
Sociodemographic retrospective study was done on child and adolescent about sexual abuse in Guantanamo province in from 2010 to 2014, in order to characterize the behavior of child abuse in that period. In the study, some of the crimes under Chapter XI of the Cuban penal code were analyzed: rape, wanton abuse and pedophilia, which are crimes against the normal sexual relationship: interview with experts of Forensic Medicine, observation, document review, content analysis and percentage calculation was used for obtaining primary data. The variables were studied: age of the victim-victimizer victim, relationship, incidence of the phenomenon by municipalities, neighborhoods of the city in Guantánamo, place of occurrence of sexual abuse and the method used by the aggressor. Presence of gender in child sexual abuse was found, the female students of 6-10 years, are the most abused lasciviously, the type of sexual abuse related to the age of victims, offenders are persons known to the victims.
